Interpretation and Language Services

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is open and operational through the government shutdown.

We're here to help!

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) welcomes travelers from around the world and we’re here to help in the language that is most comfortable for you.

Pathfinders and Volunteers at Information Desks

Look for the team in green at Information Desks. Every day, travelers connect with our Pathfinders and volunteers. Multilingual team members wear badge talkers that display the languages they speak. They can help with interpretation, translation assistance, or American Sign Language with Language Line Services, an on-demand service with professional interpreters in hundreds of languages. In 2024, the top 10 used when reaching out for help were Mandarin, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Vietnamese, French, Ukrainian, Arabic and Punjabi.

You can find them from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. in areas throughout the airport.

  • Pre-security on the ticketing level between Checkpoints 4 and 5
  • Post-security in A Concourse between gates A5 and A6
  • Additional select locations, including Central Terminal, near SEA Underground Trains, Gina Marie Lindsay Hall, etc.

CBP Booths in the International Arrivals Facility

In our International Arrivals Facility, Customs Border and Protection (CBP) officers have access to on-demand language interpretation and translation service with more than 200 language options via phones at the CBP booths to assist with processing.
